About Me
Alisa Greenwald, PsyD
I am a licensed psychotherapist with more than twenty years of experience helping people in various age groups to feel better and change their lives. I create a nurturing and comfortable environment for my patients. My therapy style is interactive and focuses on building a trusting relationship while also providing objectivity and therapeutic neutrality necessary for progress.
I received my doctorate from Pace University in 2001. My additional training includes the Stanley Greenspan’s DIR approach to working with children and adolescents. My post-doctoral training at the William Alanson White Institute in NYC expanded my knowledge to assist adults with various life issues, particularly addictions and eating disorders. My education and trained skills allow me to help children, adolescents, and adults achieve healthier lifestyles.
Please call and we can discuss the type of therapy you or your loved one needs. I understand decisions like this are never easy, but I am happy to help you with the challenges you face. My first priority is you!
